About Me

It all started with figure skating. With dreams of becoming a gold medal ice champion, I grew up watching my heroes on the world’s biggest stage and wishing I could be a part of that environment. While I didn’t quite get there as an elite figure skater, my lifelong hobby set me up for a career in communications - and ultimately the achievement of working two Olympics.

I credit skating for getting me where I am today in my professional career, and not only because I got my start at U.S. Figure Skating. But a lifelong journey on the ice has taught me perseverance, dedication, and how to get back up when you fall down too many times to count. These skills translated into my professional life, helping me succeed as a media manager at World Cups and Olympics, a writer sharing numerous stories from athletes, the community, and beyond, and a communications professional with a passion for making the world a better place.
